Trainer - Premio Yo Creo
Ricardo Salas is a passionate educator, who believes deeply in the power of participatory and theater-based methodologies to support learning. In the last 5 years he has focused his work on topics related to the training of trainers, communications skills, and citizenship/civic participation, with a strong focus on youth. He has been a part of the Premio Yo Creo training team since 2012, which is the national YouthActionNet program in Costa Rica. Ricardo has also worked as a training facilitator and pedagogical consultant focused on participatory learning methodologies in Honduras, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Paraguay and Costa Rica. He has worked with universities, governments, and NGOs, including the IDB, UNDEF, International Youth Foundation, CECOSESOLA, and Laureate International Universities. Ricardo is a graduate of the Andres Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela, and has a postgraduate degree in the Management of Creative Ventures and Cities from the National University of Cordoba, in Argentina.
