Using Music as a Tool for Healing in Singapore
For Crystal Goh, a talented singer and songwriter, music is a potent tool for healing and self-expression. After losing her voice as a result of a rare neurological condition, Crystal wrote a song on the power of hope, which she shared with others. Eventually her voice returned. She founded Diamonds on the Street to empower youth at-risk, ages 13 to 21, to express themselves creatively. Watch as Crystal, a Laureate Global Fellow, shares her innovative approach at a conference sponsored by the International Youth Foundation, Laureate International Universities, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies on October 8, 2015.
